AYAMA | expansion+extension

AYAMA is a sacred space with a no judgement + no ego policy. Offering a wide range of classes to suit all needs. We specialise in good vibes + expanding minds through both the physical + mental aspects of Yoga.

Jess McAviney

I originally started yoga back in high school as a requirement for dancing and since then I’ve fallen in love with my practice over and over again. After my first trip to India in 2016, I decided to return in 2017 to complete my yoga teacher training course in the Yoga capital of the world, Rishikesh.

Upon returning, I was inspired to create a space that felt like coming home to yourself to share my love of Yoga and its ancient philosophies and so AYAMA was established! Having grown up dancing in the ballet world, my classes now reflect this same discipline on alignment.

We work hard and savasana even harder!

Since opening AYAMA, I have taught over 1,000 classes and had the absolute pleasure of meeting so many beautiful souls who are now part of the ever expanding AYAMA family!

With 2020 having a huge impact on our little studio (if you know, you know), I’m back after a much needed break. I have recalibrated and I am SO excited to be dusting off the mat and jumping back into teaching!

I can’t wait to have you join me on the mat and welcome you home to yourself!

Namaste,

Jess
